favorite part of design school:
the amazing resources available that allow the coolest ideas to come to life and having a space and community of designers to make cool things with
first design memory:
elementary school: designing holiday and birthday cards for family and designing clothes in fashion books from my grandma
a surprising digital design I saw in the world:
the digital stairs in the Art Institute of Chicago (they were so cool and bright and colorful!)
print vs. digital product design:
print has printer limitations (color, dimensions and size) while digital has practically limitless space and color
things I saw today:
- the A+A all day loooong
- paintings in a critique
- a really cute dog
- friends!
how I define interaction design:
- design that engages users with elements that require them to act to respond
